RVC Workshops

Rainbow Video Collective seeks to give young queer people a voice.  We are currently conducting two video production workshops in San Francisco:

Queer Youth Storytelling

Larkin Street Youth Services

134 Golden Gate Avenue

Thursdays, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

This weekly drop-in workshop for queer-identified youth (and their allies) guides participants through the phases of filmmaking – from concept to planning to shooting to editing.  Participating filmmakers are currently working on a variety of short film projects about issues that are important to them.  Completed projects are bound for film festivals and national exhibition.

Queer Youth Video Production

LYRIC: Center for LGBTQQ Youth

127 Collingwood St.

Fridays, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Participants learn video production and create videos exploring one or more of the following subjects:

•self-determination

•safety

•harm reduction

•racial justice

•prison abolition

Watch for screening announcements in late spring / early summer!
